Tuesday night at Chase Centre, Steph Curry’s dagger rainbow 3-pointer in overtime gave the underdog Warriors a stunning 132-126 victory over the Boston Celtics. With three victories in a row, the Warriors improve to 13–14 on the year.

With the help of youngster Trayce Jackson-Davis, Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuminga, Curry, and Klay Thompson, the Warriors ended a heated fourth quarter and overtime.

In just 28 minutes, Jackson-Davis recorded his first double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. With 2:20 left in overtime, he made a crucial block by rushing into the paint to block Jaylen Brown’s layup and maintain a four-point advantage. For the team, Jackson-Davis was a plus-25.

Curry ended with 33 points overall, including six points in overtime on 6-of-11 shooting from three. At halftime, he had three against him and was having some foul problems. With six minutes left in the third quarter, Curry was assessed his fifth personal foul after Jaylen Brown gave him a lot of grief early in the frame. With the Celtics leading 13 points, Cory Joseph was summoned off the bench to take Curry’s spot.

The fourth-quarter comeback was spurred by Curry, who came back to open the quarter and went the entire twenty-three minutes without being called for a foul. Three quarters in, the Celtics led by as much as seventeen points. Kuminga finished with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Thompson finished with 24 points and six 3-pointers.

On Friday, the Warriors will host Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards as they continue their three-game home series. Next, before Golden State leaves for Denver to play the Nuggets on Christmas, the Portland Trail Blazers make an appearance.
