Nikola Jokic, Nuggets centre, is the basketball equivalent of a five-tool player, capable of passing, shooting, guarding, and doing just about every basketball-related ability at an outstanding level.
Nikola Jokic and Peyton Watson star in a new Hotels.com commercial: r/nba
On Tuesday, NBA fans learned about yet another talent Joki possesses: acting. Social media videos have leaked of Joki leading a new marketing campaign for Hotels.com alongside teammate Peyton Watson.
To hilarious effect, the adverts play on Joki’s love of horses and his friendship with Watson. But, as usual, the real gold was hidden in the bloopers.

Both are entertaining, especially when Jokic informs Watson that the animal in the first is, in fact, a pony. The section about the bench in the second commercial is also fantastic, especially since Watson is still earning his minutes.
Jokic feeding a pony out of his hand in a hotel lobby and relaxing in a poolside cabana is possibly the most realistic commercial campaign featuring a top athlete in history. His caustic wit shines through (as does Watson’s) in the commercials, and thankfully there is also a blooper clip, which features the pony attempting to eat Jokic’s fingers, pooping while holding onto the leash, and Jokic cussing himself out for missing his lines.

Jokic is the best basketball player on the planet and could likely do as many national appearances as he wants. However, he prefers to keep a low profile and avoids the spotlight.
We will see where these commercials end up airing, but you can bet they will go viral if they appear on a major ESPN or TNT broadcast.
Good for Jokic for performing the commercials and collecting some of the numerous endorsement payments he deserves.
While the finished advertisements demonstrated that Joki has the potential to become an outstanding pitchman like many of his NBA peers, the bloopers revealed that he may still need some practice in front of the camera.
Fans appreciated Joki’s lighthearted personality in the promotion.
