Curry’s clutch play seals Warriors’ overtime win over Boston Celtics

The underdog Warriors shocked everyone by beating the Boston Celtics 132-126 on Tuesday night at Chase Centre with a killer rainbow 3-pointer in overtime. The Warriors are now 13–14 on the year after three straight wins.

The Warriors finished a tough fourth quarter and overtime with help from Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuminga, Curry, and Klay Thompson, a young player.

The Warriors beat the Boston Celtics 132-126 on Tuesday night at Chase Centre thanks to a game-winning 3-pointer from Steph Curry in overtime. The Warriors have won three straight games and are now 13–14 for the year.

Curry made 6 of 11 three-point shots and scored 6 points in overtime. He ended with 33 points overall. By halfway, he had three against him, and he got a lot of fouls during the game. With six minutes left in the third quarter, Jaylen Brown had already been called for his fifth personal foul for roughing up Curry early on. When Curry came back into the game at the start of the fourth quarter, he did not make a mistake for 23 minutes. This made it possible for the comeback. The Celtics were ahead by seventeen points in the third quarter. Last but not least, Kuminga had 17 points and seven boards, while Thompson had 24 points and six threes.

On Friday, Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards come back to town, and the Warriors start the second half of their three-game home stand. Next, Golden State plays the Portland Trail Blazers at home.
