Anthony Davis made NBA history in the Lakers-Timberwolves game by entering the all-time scoring list

The Los Angeles Lakers play the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Centre on Thursday night. 

He made NBA history by moving up the all-time list of scorers during the game. 

The 2020 NBA Champion is now 106th on the list, passing Nate Archibald (16,481). 

After Archibald, Davis will pass Latrell Sprewell (16,712). 

Davis had played 26 games and averaged 24.0 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.2 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game. He also shot 54.6% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range.  

The Lakers are in eighth place in the Western Conference with a 15-13 record through 28 games. 

They have lost two straight games and are now 5-5 in their last ten games. 

The last time the Lakers played, they lost to the Chicago Bulls 124–108 at the United Centre on Wednesday. 

Davis played 38 minutes and scored 19 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, gave out three assists, stole two balls and blocked two shots. He shot 7/15 from the field. 

Next up for the Lakers is a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night. 

Davis was the first player picked in the 2012 NBA Draft. He is now in his 12th season in the NBA.
