Inside Lakers Star Anthony Davis’s lavish $31 million Bel Air mansion: Luxurious abode with Backyard Oasis, Basketball Court, private movie theater

Anthony Davis didn’t wait to spend some of his hard-earned money on a new home in the Los Angeles area after signing a rich four-year deal with the Lakers. The beautiful mansion is in Bel Air Crest, a gated neighbourhood that is safe and secure. It is in the mountains between Bel Air and San Fernando Valley. A report from The Real Deal said that the price of this fancy home was truly amazing.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, more than 200 homes were built in Bel Air Crest, which is a lot. Almost all of these houses are luxurious Mediterranean mansions that come with their own driveway gates. Famous people who live at Bel Air Crest include chefs like Gordon Ramsay and Kathy Gryphon. Even A-list stars like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West lived there temporarily while their huge home in Hidden Hills was being built.

Records that are open to the public show that Davis bought his new home for an amazing $31 million and got a mortgage for $20.1 million to pay for it. It’s interesting that the house was never put up for sale on any real estate website. The mansion in question is definitely a sight to see. It has the biggest and nicest living room in the whole area. The house is 20,000 square feet and sits on top of a 3.5-acre cliff with stunning views of Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean.

The property records say the house was finished in 2010 and has eight bedrooms and nine and a half bathrooms. It was built for the Chang family, who lived close, at first. The building is perfectly balanced, like the White House, and has features of a chateau in the International style mixed with European styles. Ted Foxman, a former executive from a semiconductor company who then started building homes, bought this amazing property for exactly $10 million in 2016. He spent a lot of money improving the inside and outside of the big house. It looks much brighter and lusher now than it did before.

Foxman liked to add pops of bright colours to his house. He even took it a step further by parking an old Porsche 356 in the living room, which was painted a beautiful blue colour. Foxman built a beautiful and unique home with the help of Lonni Paul, an interior designer from L.A., that was featured in Elle Decor magazine the previous year. The huge dome on top of the double-height entrance gives the house a solarium-like feel. There are also many rooms, such as a movie hall, music room, games room with a wet bar and wine cellar. Even though the house is big, the view and the 120-foot-long Olympic-sized pool are what make it stand out. A cabana by the pool, large lawns, and a full-size tennis court are some of the other highlights.

Davis used to own a fancy home in Westlake Village that he bought in 2018 for $7.5 million. But he sold it two years later and lost a big $1,000,000 on it. Foxman, on the other hand, made three times as much money when he sold the Bel Air property to Davis, but that was after taxes and the cost of repairs were taken into account. Foxman now lives in a smaller home in Encino that he bought for $13.8 million and has a basketball court and 13,000 square feet of living space.
