The Philadelphia Pacers were defeated by the Los Angeles Lakers 123-129 in Las Vegas on Saturday night in the inaugural in-season event.
Timothée Chalamet, 27, was seated courtside to watch the exciting match.
The Wonka actor wore a black jumper over a white T-shirt and a black leather pant suit.
With a black ball hat securely tucked behind his distinctive curly hair, he looked completely absorbed in the game.
The actor, well known for Call Me By Your Name, is currently getting great reviews for his performance in Wonka, the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory prequel, and this coincides with his physical endeavours. These days, Chalamet is starring in the 1964 prequel film Wonka, which is based on Roald Dahl’s classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Both Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp portrayed the slightly sinister chocolatier in previous flicks.
In the film Wonka, we follow a younger, less cynical, and more cheerful Willy Wonka as he starts his chocolate business in London. But he is in danger from a powerful cartel that controls the candy market.
Having loved Willy Wonka since he was a young boy, director Paul King calls the character a “extraordinary creation.” The world is centred around this enigmatic inventor, magician, and chocolatier who has the ability to fulfil wishes and create miracles.
For the actor starring in the role, it was “a dream come true” because he grew up watching Billy Wilder’s 1971 adaptation of Dune.
Chalamet described his thoughts after reading the script to USA Today, saying, “His unwavering spirit and ambition was one of the crucial aspects of the character.”
It was the exact opposite of the well-known insane Willy Wonka. He continued, enquiring as to how the protagonist would have started his trip up to the point where he remains naive and slightly injured.
King stated, “I want to answer the question of how he became what he accomplished,” and added that the movie would look at the reasons for his remarkable career in chocolate manufacture.Timothée is an incredibly attractive, accomplished, friendly, and youthful man who makes the ideal lead actor for our group. Along with having a special gift, he can dance and sing.
On December 8, Wonka had its theatrical debut, and early reports suggest that the crowd was delighted.
As someone put it, “I might be the first to say this, but there was crying in the theatre, and Timothée’s singing of “pure fantasy” was the ideal way to end the intense scene.”
Calah Lane makes her acting debut in Wonka alongside Hugh Grant, Olivia Colman, Keegan-Michael Key, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, and Matt Lucas.
