Each team has won 17 NBA titles, making the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers the kings of the league.
As it turns out, they also have the most chips.
First, Anthony Davis and Ruffles worked together last year to make Ruffles Lime and Jalapeno chips. At this point, Jayson Tatum is working with the business to help bring out a new unique chip called Ruffles Flamin’ Hot BBQ.
In an exclusive chat with Bleacher Report, the St. Louis native said, “I like to talk about my childhood and where I’m from.” “I love spicy food and anything that can make it more spicy or give it that extra kick,” said Flamin’ Hot BBQ. I always do it. Also, BBQ is famous in St. Louis. I believe that those two things go very well together. Fans will love it, I’m sure.”
The first time Frito-Lay has put barbecue flavor and Flamin’ Hot kick together is in this snack.
Tatum laughed when he said he thought his chips would taste better than the ones with Davis on them. He also said that Ruffles’ relationship with the Lakers’ big man was an inspiration for him, not a goal to reach as a Celtic.
“I like doing things that are genuine, that are natural,” he stated. “I like chips… I have loved Ruffle chips since I was a child. Remember when Anthony Davis partnered with them last year? I thought that was cool, and I thought to myself, “If I ever got that chance if that ever came up, that would be a no-brainer for me.” It did, and I’m thankful and glad to be a part of the family.
Two new ads from Ruffles with Davis and T-Pain will air during the NBA All-Star Game on March 7 and the Grammy Awards on March 14.
Tatum was named an All-Star for the second straight season, so people who watch the All-Star Game will also be able to see him. On Tuesday, he and his partner Jaylen Brown were named All-Star reserves.
Tatum averaged 25.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, and Brown averaged 25.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. Both players deserved to be picked.
Tatum said he told Brown to “just enjoy it” even though “this year is going to be so much different” because all the basketball events are happening in one day: the skills competition and three-point contest will happen before the game, and the dunk contest will happen at halftime. I have no idea what to expect.
Putting the Celtics All-Stars in this situation at this point in the season is also a bit strange.
On the one hand, they are being praised for how great they are as individuals. The Celtics, on the other hand, have lost three straight games and are only 7-14 in their last 21 games.
