He should be happy because he was just signed by the L.A. Lakers, but we think it might also have something to do with the $350,000 watch on his wrist. Today is NBA star Anthony Davis’s first outfit breakdown on D’Marge. There will be many more to come.
Earlier this week, Davis went to a press meeting in Los Angeles to officially join his new team. He wore a simple but stylish smart casual suit that would have put him in the same league as Russell Westbrook and LeBron James.
Davis wore a basic navy pinstripe suit over a white t-shirt and white shoes. It was pretty standard stuff that was made more stylish with a few small touches. A simple heritage necklace, lapel pin, and pocket square finished off the look nicely, but not before Davis showed off a Richard Mille RM11-03 in rose gold, which costs between AU$350,000 and $400,000 (it was US$160,000 when it first came out).
The flyback chronograph is the most flashy piece in Davis’s outfit and is very attractive to look at. There are layers of titanium parts inside the 49.94 mm x 44.5 mm rose gold case that make the watch very light. But maybe don’t use this on the practice court.
