Jayson Tatum celebrates his 25th birthday with a gift from the Jumpman, a specially crafted “Blueprint” inspired colorway

All-Star Weekend, where he scored 55 points, was the first time Jayson Tatum wore his first Jordan Brand signature shoe. Since then, he has worn all of the first-release colors of the Jordan JT 1. In honor of his 25th birthday last night, the four-time All-Star played on the court in a design based on “Blueprint” that was a gift from Jumpman. He did this in his hometown of St. Louis.

The JT 1 was first released based on the trip of the current All-Star MVP to the League. On the other hand, the dominant “Royal Blue” pair was based on the first sketches and rough drafts of his first signature model. If you look at the white features on the forefoot, they remind you of the early stages of design. On the heel, the opposite Jumpman and JT marks look like scaled sketches.

There is a grid layer on the forefoot with text that describes how the technology is built in and how the screen is put together. Tatum usually changes his shoes for games with a jet-black Sharpie that says “DEUCE” on the heel. This makes the mostly blue outfit stand out.
