Jimmy Butler, an All-Star, provides the morning inspiration. Here’s a brief synopsis of his inspirational narrative, which is being adapted into a movie, for those who are unaware: Fatherless, he was ejected from his home at the age of 13, and he lived on the streets for years until moving in with a family that already had seven children. He went on to become a standout high school player (who was not heavily recruited), a college player (including junior college), an NBA draft pick at the end of the first round, an NBA All-Star, an NBA Most Improved Player, and an NBA All-Star.
He also had shootouts with Michael Jordan and is currently regarded by many teams as the key missing component to an NBA championship.
These are a few videos that highlight his work ethic and how it has helped him become that person.
And here’s Butler finishing five sets of heavy squats and five sets of heavy cleans, followed by a 50-inch box jump.
“He arrives at this place at five in the morning, works out on the court with his skills guy, and then studies film.” Trainee Travelle Gaines says.”He spends the entire day working out to get in the best shape possible.”
