The NBA has released the first results of the All-Star fan vote. Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James are at the top of the list.
The West is led by James, and the East is led by Antetokounmpo. As a whole, Antetokounmpo gets the most votes. Third place goes to Joel Embiid. Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum make up the rest of the top five.
The five people who got the most votes are all frontcourt stars. One of the best guards is Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Another is Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers.
The fans vote for half of the starters for the All-Star game, and the other half is split evenly between the NBA players and a group of journalists. Few “3-for-1” days are planned for fans, which makes every vote three times as valuable. The first is January 5.
The next story for fans will come out on January 11, and the second 3-for-1 day will happen on January 12.
The NBA’s All-Star images are dressed in the navy blue and gold of the Pacers, who will host the 2024 All-Star Game on February 18.
