Curveball Surprise: Steph Curry Steps Up to the Plate with a Surprise Appearance at Baseball Game

Steph Curry, a star with the Golden State Warriors, is highly involved in the Bay Area. Curry frequently appears at other events around town while he isn’t playing at Chase Center. Curry, an MLB enthusiast, recently made an unexpected cameo at a San Jose Giants game:Image

Oracle Park is almost an hour away from the San Jose Giants, who are the San Francisco Giants’ Class A affiliate. The San Jose Giants, who are based not far from Chase Center, are also roughly an hour away from Curry’s home arena of the Warriors.

Curry has previously made appearances at baseball events. In 2018, while wearing a Giants jersey, he threw out the first pitch at a Japanese baseball game and during the Oakland A’s final season. Over the years, Curry has also made a number of visits at Giants home games.Image

During the most recent MLB free agency period, Curry strengthened his ties to the Giants by assisting in the recruitment of Aaron Judge to The Bay; but, the Yankees star ultimately chose to re-sign with New York.

It is always entertaining to watch local teams, particularly low-key minor league teams like the San Jose Giants that don’t get much attention, get in contact with stars like Curry.
