For her most recent trip to the recording studio, Taylor Swift just wore a piece of jewelry that means a lot to her.
The 34-year-old singer of “Lavender Haze” wore a necklace with a quote from the late basketball star Kobe Bryant to go with her casual athleisure outfit. The necklace was from Vanessa Bryant’s 2022 capsule jewelry collection Mambacita x ZC jewelry, which was a collaboration with Zoë Chicco Fine Jewelry in L.A.
A gold circle charm on Swift’s chain had the words “Bet on yourself” and Kobe’s full name carved below the quote. There were diamonds all around the gold ring, which made the inspirational quote stand out even more.
There is no longer a pendant for sale online because Vanessa’s collection was only open to the public for one month after it came out. However, Swift wore a $120 Men’s Adidas Graphics Animal Polar Fleece Jacket on Thursday.
Vanessa, 41, wrote an Instagram picture of the collection in 2022 to thank her followers for their support. “The limited capsule will be available for one month and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation, dedicated to creating positive impact for underserved athletes and boys and girls in sports,” she wrote.

Vanessa is wearing another gold pendant necklace in the reveal. It has a quote from her late husband that says, “Dedication makes dreams come true.”
Swift’s choice of jewelry on Thursday is just one way she’s chosen to remember her friend Kobe and his daughter Gianna Maria-Onore since they died in 2020 at the ages of 41 and 13. Kobe performed on Swift’s 1989 World Tour at The Staples Center in Los Angeles in 2015.
At an Eras tour stop in L.A. in August, the pop star famously stopped singing “22” to give a big hug to Vanessa and Kobe’s 7-year-old daughter Bianka, who was there with her mom and sister Natalia Bryant, who turns 20 next week.
Vanessa wrote on Instagram, “We love you @taylorswift ❥” under a picture of the two of them. Their 4-year-old daughter Capri Kobe didn’t go to the show with them.
