After head coach Adrian Griffin was fired, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 35 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to win in their first game back.

With 18 rebounds and 10 assists, Antetokounmpo recorded his sixth triple-double of the year as the Bucks defeated the Cavaliers 126-116.
Despite having the second-best record in the NBA (30-13), Griffin was fired on Tuesday.
Doc Rivers, external, will be named by the Bucks to be Griffin’s replacement.
In June, following the Bucks’ elimination from the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs, Griffin took over for Mike Budenholzer.
In September, the Bucks pulled off a blockbuster trade to acquire Damian Lillard, a great point guard, to join forces with two-time MVP Antetokounmpo.
The Philadelphia 76ers fired Rivers in May after the team had failed to advance past the Conference semifinals in each of his three seasons as head coach.
