Giannis Antetokounmpo, a basketball player, laughed on Twitter after learning that Al-Hilal had placed a sizable bid to sign Kylian Mbappe.
Paris Saint-Germain accepted the Saudi Pro League team’s €300 million offer on Monday, and Mbappe, 25, was given the go-ahead to speak with Al-Hilal.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Mbappe will be offered a base wage of €200 million, which may rise to €700 million with additional commercial deals. Mbappe has not yet spoken with Al-Hilal.
Mbappe is expected to decline Al-Hilal’s offer because he wants to play out his contract at Paris before agreeing to a free transfer to Real Madrid in the summer.
But when Antetokounmpo saw how much money Mbappe would be able to make in the Middle East, he made a hilarious “come get me” gesture.
“You can take me, Al Hilal,” the NBA player said via Twitter. My likeness is Kylian Mbappe.
Antetokounmpo tweeted a picture of the Milwaukee Bucks power forward along with the emojis for two laughing and one eye, along with a cheeky smile.
Mbappe swiftly responded to Antetokounmpo’s joke with thirteen laughing emojis.
Antetokounmpo and Mbappe became acquainted when the Bucks went to Paris in 2020 to face the Charlotte Hornets as part of the NBA Global Games series.
