Victor Wembanyama did something very special in the Lakers’ win, and LeBron James responded

In their first game back from the All-Star break on February 22, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Golden State Warriors. The next night, they beat the San Antonio Spurs 123–118, with LeBron James being the main reason why.

After the game, Wembanyama had 27 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 blocks, and 5 steals, giving him a 55 line. In NBA history, the 7-foot-4 star is the 15th youngest player to record a 5×5 line. He did it in the fewest minutes ever.

If you remember, LeBron called Wembanyama a “special talent” after the Spurs beat the Lakers in December. Thanks to James for his kind words, Wembanyama has accepted the “alien” connection he made.

During his walk-off interview, James used the word “special” again to describe Wembanayma. But he also made sure to thank head coach Gregg Popovich, who is in the Hall of Fame.
