Steph Curry achieves historic milestone in Nuggets-Warriors Clash

The Denver Nuggets will play the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night at the Chase Centre in San Francisco.  

Steph Curry, the two-time MVP, created thrilling NBA history during the game by passing Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade (23,165) for 32nd place on the all-time scoring list. 

The next player Adrian Dantley (23,177), a Hall of Famer, will be passed by Curry after Wade.  

Curry had impressive 52-game averages of 46.2% from the field and 41.9% from three-point range, along with averages of 27.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.

In addition, he is participating in his 935th game of his career, tying Mychal Thompson, the two-time NBA Champion, for 218th place on the list of all-time regular season games played. 

The guys that Curry will pass after Thompson are Derrick McKey (937) and Lindsey Hunter (937). 

The Warriors are now the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 29-26 record after 55 games, having had a difficult start to the season. They have played much better recently.

They have won eight of their past ten games and are currently enjoying a three-game winning run. 

Tuesday night, the Warriors will travel to Washington, D.C., to play Jordan Poole and the Wizards, after the Nuggets.

Regarding the Nuggets, who had a 38-19 record after 57 games going into the day. 

They have won six of their past ten games and are currently riding a two-game winning streak.
