Starting today, the Los Angeles Lakers play a string of games that will be very important for their chances of making the playoffs this spring. They will play seven of their next eight games against teams with much better records than them. Their next game is on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
But the Clippers have won all three games between these teams in the last ten years or so, even though the Lakers have won two of those three this season.
Unfortunately, Anthony Davis was sick with an upper respiratory sickness during practice on Tuesday, which made things even worse for the Lakers.
Since winter isn’t really over yet, it’s still cold, flu, and COVID-19 season. That being said, Davis has shown that he is a trooper, and if he is healthy enough to play on Wednesday, he should at least try to play.
