‘Biggest challenge’ – Damian Lillard takes MASSIVE hit as court documents reveal estranged wife’s ‘incredible’ admission about their 3 kids

A few days after Damian Lillard was traded from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Milwaukee Bucks, he filed for divorce from his wife Kay’la. The NBA world was taken aback by the news, as the couple recently celebrated their second anniversary. In his divorce documents, the seven-time All-Star provided the justification that there were “irreconcilable differences.”

Kay’la, however, seemingly ripped Lillard, per documents filed in Oregon’s Clackamas County Circuit

In the divorce filing, the mother of three declared (via Radar Online):

“Father has never been the sole parent responsible for the care of all three of our children, for any hours-long period of time without the help of nannies, assistants, and/or family members.

“Father chose when and how much he saw the children while the children lived with me full-time in my home. When Father was in town and not traveling for basketball, publicity, endorsements, or his music endeavors, he would pop over to visit for anywhere between thirty minutes to an hour to play with the kids while I was there or while a nanny was present a few times a week.”

Damian Lillard has been known to go on social media to post photos of himself and his children having a good time. He once had a “dad of all times” caption in one of the IG photos.

Kay’la Lillard had this to say as the reason she chose to keep her silence despite Lillard’s alleged poor parenting:

“I understand he is busy and has many commitments he must attend to. I also understand that the brand ‘Damian Lillard’ needs to continue with an image of a family-man. Despite our separation for several months, I have continued to support that image to the public.”

Dame also shared in an interview on Christmas: “That’s probably been the biggest challenge, being away from my kids, Being away from everything that I’ve known.

“It’s a hurdle. It is an everyday battle. Any father or any mother would know that. When you wake up and you are able to be physically present with your kids, there is nothing else that you love more in the world.”

“So being away from my kids, I wake up every day like, man, they are not seeing my face today physically. I can’t hug them. I can’t go pick my son up from school. I can’t pick up my twin daughter and son.

“It’s things that you just can’t do being this far away. And those are things that I love to do the most and I take a lot of pride in. When you get stripped of that, and for a great reason, there is a lot to be thankful for. But it’s just hard.”
