In route to their fifth consecutive victory, the Bucks led by 14 points at the half and went on a 17-0 run after Chicago closed the gap to eight early in the fourth. Since Doc Rivers replaced the dismissed Adrian Gryphon as coach, Milwaukee had an 8-7 record.

In addition to his two 3-pointers, Antetokounmpo had six assists.

With 16 points, Damian Lillard scored. For the third time in four games this season, the Bucks defeated the Bulls with the help of Patrick Beverley’s 14 points.

DeMar DeRozan of Chicago became the 35th player in NBA history to reach the 23,000 point mark. The six-time All-Star made 5 of 13 field goals after missing his first six attempts, scoring 12 points, all but two of which came in the second half.

With 22 points, Coby White shined.

Just nine points and seventeen points had Nikola Vucevic before he was dismissed early in the fourth quarter. Disappointed that he was not called after missing a jumper, he fouled hard on a driving A.J. Green and was ejected with 9:27 left in the game.

Less than a minute into the fourth quarter, White made two foul shots, making the score 84-76. But when Green made a three-pointer, the Bucks easily defeated the Bulls.

Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to a 58-44 halftime advantage with 23 points and eight rebounds.

The two-time MVP just got his way, whether he was creating opportunities for teammates or bank shots and dunks. He made a play that would have made a highlight reel in the first few minutes when he drove to the top of the key and swatted an over-the-shoulder, no-look pass to Brook Lopez for a three.

The Bucks led by fifteen points in the first quarter before the Bulls cut the deficit to four early in the second. Milwaukee overcame Chicago 14-6 in the final four minutes of the half to erase a six-point lead. That run was started by Lillard’s two free throws and finger roll.

In the final seconds, Antetokounmpo scored a basket off an alley-oop, bringing the score to 13 points. After that, DeRozan scored Chicago’s first two points on two free throws, but Jae Crowder’s corner three at the buzzer gave the Bucks a 14-point lead and sent them to the locker room.

Khris Middleton, who hurt his left ankle, is “really close,” according to Rivers, to making a comeback. For the tenth consecutive game, the three-time All-Star was absent.

“These past three days have been fantastic,” stated Rivers.
