For fans of both the NFL and the NBA, the San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers Divisional Round battle brought about a startling development.

A few spectators’ eyebrows were raised when Los Angeles Lakers player Anthony Davis was seen wearing a Packers shirt on the pitch during the warmup.

However, some may recall that Davis already explained his Packer’s love. Davis was present at Lambeau Field as the Green Bay Packers played the Seattle Seahawks in the 2020 playoffs.

Even though Davis was raised in Chicago, he did not have a strong interest in football. He practically experienced peer pressure in the NBA to select an NFL team that he liked.

He chose the Packers since he had acquaintances on the team. Given that the clubs are rivals, that won’t please Bears supporters, but they’ll have to settle their differences another day.
