Patrick Beverley and Damian Lillard were once fierce competitors on the floor. They are now cooperating with the aim of achieving the Milwaukee Bucks’ shared objective of winning an NBA championship. When Lillard recently talked about his teammate during Milwaukee’s intense stretch, he was gushing about Beverley.

The Bucks sweet-shooting guard told reporters, “There are a lot of guys in our league that we would probably see a lot better from them.” His cutting edge. He is a provocateur. He’s speaking. He is confident in his ability to benefit a team.

Beverley is shown to be a fantastic complementing piece alongside Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee, a team brimming with talent.

Once the Bucks returned from the NBA All-Star break, they were in high gear. Despite the absence of Antetokounmpo from the Bucks, Lillard and company have won their previous six games, including a 113-106 triumph at home against the Los Angeles Clippers last Monday.

In that game, Lillard led the Bucks with a commanding 41 points on 12-for-22 shooting from the field. Beverley also had a successful performance, packing the stat sheet with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals in addition to his three 3-pointers and aggressive defence that shook his former team.

From a deep shooting slump at the end of the first half of the season, Lillard seemed to have bounced back. With 40 percent of his shots from beyond the arc made, the Bucks star has averaging 23.7 points since the break.
