For years, Luka Dončić has captivated basketball fans worldwide with his deft manoeuvres on the court. It was less well known, though, that he also possesses some remarkable tennis abilities.

He most recently displayed his tennis skills at a charity event hosted by Dallas Mavericks great Dirk Nowitzki, who made fun of Luka’s strokes.

Dirk joked, “He thinks he is better than he actually is,” but Luka did not hold back. Luka shot back, “You have never played me one-on-one,” as he stood opposite the legendary American tennis player Andy Roddick during a doubles match. The 40-year-old American remarked, “My only thought was that I must not injure Luka Dončić before the start of the season.” Luka acknowledged that he always looks forward to hanging out with friends and having a good time at tournaments.

Luka took part in the yearly Dallas icon Dirk Nowitzki celebrity tennis tournament with great enthusiasm. This year’s star-studded event, which also featured actor Ben Stiller, raised money for Nowitzki’s charity, which helps Dallas children with their health and education.
