This past Christmas, NBA All-Star Luka Doncic showed the world how to make an appearance in a bespoke first-generation Chevy Camaro.
While waiting for his recent game against the Lakers, Doncic arrived at the American Airlines Centre in a stunning Chevy Camaro. The Dallas Mavericks point guard, who stands at a towering 6-foot-7, effortlessly stepped out of the custom muscle car. He arrived at the scene decked out in cowboy boots, a Stetson-style hat, and a bolo tie, looking every inch the part for the Texas game.
Finished in a rich shade of blue, Doncic’s first-generation Chevy Camaro exudes style thanks to its blue paint job, polished chrome accents, and custom wheels. The wheels have a polished lip and a multi-spoke design; they are wrapped in Nitto rubber and give the look a pleasant shine. It seems like the NBA star’s Chevy Camaro even has a blue inside.
The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro made its debut in September 1966 and was manufactured for the 1967–1969 model years. The second-generation Camaro was unveiled in February 1970 and was used for the 1970 model year. Underneath its skin, the first-generation Chevrolet Camaro was a convertible and two-door coupe based on the General Motors F-body platform. The standard engine was a 3.8L inline six-cylinder, but buyers could choose from a bevy of V8 alternatives reaching 396 cubic inches.
After that, the Mavericks cruised to a 124–115 victory over the Lakers. Doncic boosted the Mavs’ total by 32 points.
A collection of NERF toy guns and a fleet of Segway all-electric scooters were among the gifts that Doncic gave to his coaches and teammates for Christmas. Concic was dubbed “Luke Claus” as a result of the move.
