On Friday night, the Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 101–94. Anthony Davis scored 23 points and grabbed 19 rebounds, and D’Angelo Russell made the most 3-pointers in a single season, setting a new Lakers record.

They beat the Sixers after losing seven straight games. LeBron James scored 20 points, grabbed eight boards, and dished out six assists. Philadelphia hadn’t lost to Los Angeles since March 3, 2020.

In the fourth quarter, James scored 11 points and Davis added nine. Their size and toughness helped them beat Philadelphia’s hard-fought attempt. Both teams never had a lead of 10 points or more, and the Lakers turned the ball over 21 times while scoring the fewest points they have since January 3.
