They beat the Sixers after losing seven straight games. LeBron James scored 20 points, grabbed eight boards, and dished out six assists. Philadelphia hadn’t lost to Los Angeles since March 3, 2020.

In the fourth quarter, James scored 11 points and Davis added nine. Their size and toughness helped them beat Philadelphia’s hard-fought attempt. Both teams never had a lead of 10 points or more, and the Lakers turned the ball over 21 times while scoring the fewest points they have since January 3.

James said, “Ugly, but we got the job done.” “In the second half, we played good defense.” In the fourth, they only had 18 points. That’s a big deal when the attack was having such a hard time. When we got to half-court, we tightened up and made them take tough shots. We turned the ball over way too often and let too many easy points go through.
