”Cheers to us my love!!” In honor of her husband LeBron on their ninth wedding anniversary, Savannah wrote
On their ninth wedding anniversary, LeBron James and his wife Savannah are having a party.
It was on his Instagram Story Wednesday, James, 37, praised his wife with a stunning picture of the two of them from a recent Vanity Fair shoot. The four-time MVP wrote above the picture, “Queen,” and added, “P.S. YOU SO DAMN SEXY!” Along with the heart and hungry face emojis, they wrote “WOW.”
Savannah and LeBron got married nine years ago, but they’ve been together for a lot longer than that. They met in high school and have been together for 21 years.
In honor of their special day, Savannah also shared a tribute post on Instagram with a cute picture of them toasting with friends and the words “9 years down(21), forever to go!!” Happy birthday to us, my love!”#JamesGang, Happy Anniversary!”
In 2018, Savannah told Cleveland Magazine that she met her future husband LeBron when she was a junior in high school and he was a year older and went to a different school. She said that he had asked a friend for her phone number, but she chose to get LeBron’s instead.
“One day I’m just sitting there—I think I was bored—and I remember—Oh, I forgot! I can call this guy at this number. “Let’s see, he seemed interested,” she said.
LeBron asked her to go to one of his basketball games, and afterward, they met up with friends to go to Applebee’s. A few weeks after that, they went on their first date by themselves to Outback Steakhouse.
Savannah knew right away that they were in love. In 2010, she told Harper’s Bazaar, “I knew he loved me when I left mine in his car after dinner.” He brought them to me because I had forgotten all about them. I believe he only wanted another reason to visit me.
