The Milwaukee Bucks, led by Antetokounmpo, came in third place in the Eastern Conference of the NBA.  They advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals but lost to the Boston Celtics in seven games.

In the 67 games he participated during the regular season, he averaged 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists.

The most significant off-season acquisition for Milwaukee was the signing of free agent forward Joe Ingles. The franchise is returning most of its squad in an effort to recreate the magic of an NBA Finals triumph similar to what it saw in 2020–21.
