THE DENVER NUGGETS WON A GAME IN UTAH. Heading into the fourth quarter

Against the Denver Nuggets in the third quarter, Utah Jazz forward Luka Samanic leaped to slam Nikola Jokic with one hand.

Samanic performed admirably after being added to the starting lineup for the game against Denver.

For the Jazz this season, Samanic has only made four starts. In his first 22 minutes of action, the Croatian forward ended with 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Samanic and Taylor Hendricks shared defensive responsibilities with Michael Porter Jr.

Starting the fourth quarter with just 10 points (4/10 from the field), Porter Jr.

Samanic’s defensive efforts helped the Jazz keep the score close in the second half.

With twelve minutes left in the first quarter, Utah came back from an early deficit to tie the score at seven points.

Jazz is hosting the Nuggets in an attempt to snap their losing streak.

The Utah Jazz are hoping to snap their 12-game losing streak when they take on the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night.

The Jazz are now experiencing their worst losing streak since the 1981–1982 season, which is the third longest in team history. The squad has a 3-23 record since the NBA trade deadline.

The Jazz won’t have enough players when they play Denver.

 

Lauri Markkanen (shoulder), Jordan Clarkson (SI), John Collins (back), Walker Kessler (nose), and Kris Dunn (foot) are the players out against the Nuggets.

After being benched in Friday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, Keyonte George, Taylor Hendricks, and Brice Sensabaugh all had positive outings against the Golden State Warriors in their most recent game.

Between 15 and 29 shots, the trio of rookies tallied 44 points in the loss.
