Riley, Ryan, and Canon Curry—ages 8, 5, and 2, respectively—worked together to create a special Under Armour Curry Flow 8 colorway in honor of their father’s birthday. The three sent the two-time NBA MVP and seven-time All-Star on a treasure hunt to uncover their creative present.
The children searched their house for solutions, and one of them said, “You gotta put that brain to thinking.”
The hunt came to an end when Curry found a shoebox in the kitchen cabinet that had his name on it. Upon opening it, he discovered fragments of the children’s design materials including blue and pink sneakers. The eldest of the three, Riley, continued by saying that she and her siblings “got to colour and design them however we wanted.”
Riley said, “And then we combined all of our designs to make the shoe.”
Curry appears to be lucky to have the special trainers for his birthday. When the Warriors visited the Utah Jazz, who are now atop the Western Conference, on Sunday night, the sharpshooter sparkled in his new trainers and led Golden State to its first win of March.
Even his kids were in the grandstand to witness their father play a 32-point, assist-heavy performance that won the game. After the victory, Curry embraced his little man in front of the cameras.
The Riley, Ryan, and Canon-designed sneakers are available for presale; they will ship by March 22 for sneakerheads and fans of Chef Curry. The Curry Flow 8s in the Tropic Pink/Capri colorway are available for $160 on the Under Armour website.
