With the release of the Jordan Luka 3, Jordan Brand and Dallas Mavericks player Luka Doncic are getting ready for the next installment in their iconic line.
With a midsole system built for durability and quick movement, the Luka 3 is geared for speed without sacrificing control when attacking the basket, taking inspiration from Luka’s passion for high-performance sports automobiles.
Neoprene on the medial toe relieves pressure, and the upper material is also modeled like the scorching or screeching sound of tires. The Luka 3’s webbing is comprised of a material that resembles a seatbelt, and the tread has a herringbone tire tread pattern with nubs around the periphery that resemble tire vent spues.
The “77” on the medial side of each shoe and “Sedeminsedemdeset,” which translates to “77” in Slovenian, are the last touches.
With a full-length Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole and a cored-out IsoPlate, the Jordan Luka 3 builds on the innovations of the Luka 2, offering a lightweight, responsive feel and a seamless heel-to-toe transition on the court.
Beginning in July, the Jordan Luka 3 will be available in full-family sizing for $130 on Nike.com and at a few other chosen stores.
