Damian Lillard Debuts Adidas Dame 9 in Bucks' Game 1 Win

For basketball lovers, the first weekend of the NBA Playoffs is traditionally one of the most thrilling events of the year. adidas excelled with the support of its All-Star team while all attention were on the basketball court.

With four of its five iconic athletes participating in the playoffs and all of them showcasing new models or player-exclusive colorways, Adidas was well-represented this weekend. Earlier in the weekend, Adidas displayed the rotation of shoes used by its players.

Damian Lillard debuted the Adidas Dame 9 and James Harden got his purple with patent leather Harden Vol 8 on the start of their NBA playoff series

The adidas Dame 9 made its premiere in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Playoff series between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers, featuring Damian Lillard, the brand’s most seasoned player.

The timing of Lillard’s ninth signature adidas sneaker release could not have been more ideal. The pivotal Game 1 victory was won by the Bucks point guard, who scored 35 points in the first half.

Although Lillard’s performance in the adidas Dame 9 was first seen by fans on Sunday night, the basketball shoe has really been available for months. During the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in February, Adidas debuted Lillard’s unannounced sneakers.
