The Dallas Mavericks tied the Los Angeles Clippers in their first-round play-off series thanks to 32 points from Luka Doncic.
The Mavericks came back to win game two 96-93 after falling behind by as many as 29 points in their 109-97 loss on Sunday.
Doncic added nine assists to his 23 points, and Kyrie Irving added three.
The third game of the best-of-seven series takes place in Dallas on Friday.
Star player Kawhi Leonard returned from injury to score 15 points in 35 minutes, while Paul George and James Harden each scored 22 points for the Clippers.
Early in the fourth quarter, the Clippers had a 73-67 lead, but the Mavericks responded with 14 straight baskets.
With 86 seconds left, Doncic added a three-pointer to extend the lead to 90-81, and Dallas was able to hold on from there.
Tuesday also saw the Minnesota Timberwolves take a 2-0 lead against the Phoenix Suns in their play-off match.
Minnesota defeated other teams 105-93, led by a career-high 25 points from Jaden McDaniels and 18 points apiece from Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert.
“Twenty-five points in a play-off game, there is nothing more I could ask for,” McDaniels stated.
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 125-108 to snap a 10-game losing streak in the postseason.
The Pacers and their Eastern Conference play-off match were tied at one point thanks to the 37 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists that Pascal Siakam scored.
