The Bucks intended to rely more heavily on Portis in light of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s calf ailment and Damian Lillard’s Achilles injury, both of which prevented them from playing on Sunday.
According to research conducted by ESPN Stats & Information, this game was the 13th instance in which a club played a playoff game without their two highest-scoring players from the regular season. The preceding teams had a record of 0-12.
The Pacers are currently ahead in the best-of-seven series with a score of 3-1. The fifth game of the series will take place on Tuesday in Milwaukee.
