The Milwaukee Bucks’ season came to an end on Thursday night as they lost Game 6 of their first-round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers, 120-98.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, the two-time MVP, was sidelined for the team’s final nine games and could not participate in the series due to an injury he acquired at the end of the season.
Because Antetokounmpo also suffered injuries in the previous campaign, the Bucks have now lost in the first round of the playoffs two seasons in a row.
Antetokounmpo unfollowed Brandon Jennings, a former fan favorite of the Bucks, on Friday, according to NBA Alerts, a group that monitors social media activity throughout the league.
Jennings spent his first four seasons as a player with the Bucks prior to Antetokounmpo being drafted.
He returned to the team for the second time in 2017–18, this time as Antetokounmpo’s temporary coworker.
In addition to the Bucks, Jennings has played for the Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, and Washington Wizards.
Antetokounmpo has now played in 11 NBA seasons with the Bucks.
