Coach Aleksander Sekulic said that Bine Prepelic and Jan Span are the final two players who will not be included in the group travelling to Athens this Sunday for the OQT in Piraeus next week.

However, among the current players competing in the NBA and the EuroLeague, only Luka Doncic, Vlatko Cancar, and Josh Nebo stand out.

Slovenia will be included in Group A, which also includes Croatia and New Zealand. In the second group, there will be Greece, Egypt, and the Dominican Republic. Only the team that wins the event will qualify for the Olympics.

“Securing a victory prior to our arrival in Piraeus is highly appreciated, however, we acknowledge that our opportunities for further training are diminishing,” Sekulic remarked.

“In the upcoming trainings, our goal is to refine specific aspects in order to enhance our diversity and unpredictability, making us more formidable against our opponents,” he continued.
