Mavs star Luka Doncic is thrilled to see boxing legend Floyd Mayweather as he returns from an ankle injury sustained in a Dallas loss

Luka Doncic, the promising NBA rookie, got a unique early birthday surprise when he met and interacted with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather before and after returning to the court. Doncic, who had missed the previous two Dallas Mavericks games due to an ankle ailment, revealed his delight in rubbing shoulders with the great boxer after his team’s defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers.

 

 

 

 

The Slovenian star, who rose through the ranks at Real Madrid before being taken as the third overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, was noticeably excited to meet Floyd Mayweather. Doncic even had the opportunity to autograph a jersey for his idol, clearly cherishing the moment.
