The England and Real Madrid star went to West Yorkshire to watch his brother Jobe play for Sunderland against Marseille, a French team.
The Mackems are getting ready for another season where they want to get promoted to the Premier League. Jude, Jobe’s older brother, was seen keeping a close eye on his play.
When fans in the stadium, who were from Bradford, Marseille, and Sunderland, saw a celebrity in the middle, they quickly turned to take pictures and wave at the former Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund player.
The older Bellingham brother waved and smiled at fans while wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and a backwards cap. He also had his picture taken with some of the people who came to the University of Bradford Stadium.
Faris Moumbagna scored for the French team, putting them behind 1-0. However, Dennis Cirkin scored a header soon after the second half started to tie the game.
Ismail Kone, the Ligue 1 team’s new player from Watford, scored a beautiful goal to put OM ahead again. With less than 10 minutes left, Adil Aouchiche’s penalty tied the game again.
The North East club starts their Championship season again next weekend against Cardiff City. Marseille, on the other hand, will be looking for a huge improvement this season, which starts on August 17 away at Brest.
