Greece’s men’s basketball team defeated Australia on Friday to win a vital group match at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, the two-time NBA MVP and past MVP of the NBA Finals, led both teams in scoring during the match, going for a game-high 20 points (8-of-11 FG). He added two steals, six assists, and seven rebounds as well.
The standout player for the Milwaukee Bucks put on an incredible all-around performance, and his older brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo—who has been a member of Greece’s national team since 2016—reacted beautifully to it.
