Strahinja Jokic, the brother of NBA star Nikola Jokic, has reportedly been ordered to stay away from the man he was accused of punching at a Nuggets game in April.
The elder Jokic was charged with third-degree аssаult, a misdemeanor, and first appeared in Denver County Court last month.

The 41-year-old was caught on camera hitting a man during his brother’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers in April.
Now, according to the Denver Post, a judge ruled that Strahinja must stay away from the alleged victim and return to court in October.
It’s not the first time Strahinja has landed himself in trouble with police over violent behavior. He was arrested in 2019 for allegedly choking and pushing a woman.
This time, a now-viral TikTоk video showed ‘well-known family members of Denver Nuggets player Nikola Jokic engaging in an altercation with an unidentified fan in the stands,’ according to an arrest affidavit.
He and his brother Nemanja Jokic had a ‘verbal exchange’ with a fan in the stands, who was then knocked backwards by the force of Strahinja’s puncҺ.
When the man was interviewed by a Denver cops a few days later, it’s said he had cuts and bruising around his left eye.
The alleged victim claimed the аssаult – at the hands of a ‘big guy with a mohawk’ – was unprovoked. He was even diagnosed with a concussion.
According to the affidavit, he ‘initially didn’t want to press charges against Strahinja Jokic because he was afraid of retaliation and concerned for his family’s safety, but he changed his mind in early May.’

When contacted by local police, Strahinja said he believed he had done nothing wrong because ‘he was defending an older man whom he had known for a very long time.’
Back in 2019, reports claimed that the elder Jokic brother turned violent when a woman tried to leave his apartment. He was accused of saying he would choke her ‘until she fell asleep’. He was also alleged to have taken her phone away when she tried to call 911.
Meanwhile, in February 2002, additional charges were dismissed after he entered a guilty plea to a misdemeanor count of obstructing phone service and a felony count of trespassing.
He was given a deferred sentence and informed that, should he not commit another crime by February 3, 2022, the charges would be withdrawn.
Nikola Jokic once raised eyebrows when he gave some very candid quotes about his unusual upbringing with his older brother.
He told Sports Illustrated in 201 that Strahinja ‘once held down my arms and threw knives all around my head’ after refusing to climb a tree with him.
