A latest transfer development may make Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman an official target for Arsenal. The Gunners now intend to strengthen their forward corps in the event that a unique market opportunity arises, having added four new players this summer. Coman might be among such athletes.
The France international is available for transfer to Bayern, either permanently or on a season-long loan. Given that David Raya, Riccardo Calafiori, and Mikel Merino were signed for just less than £100 million, it appears unlikely that Arsenal will be able to afford to recruit another high-paid long-term player.
Smith Emile Although Eddie Nketiah’s rumoured £30 million move to Crystal Palace will be beneficial, if Arsenal makes a bid to sign Coman, the move is probably just temporary. Things have improved since Rowe’s first £27 million move to Fulham.
Even though Coman has drawn interest from a number of European teams, it seems that Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia has come to an understanding. According to reports, Coman has given his approval for the transfer, and Bayern has asked for between £42 million (€50 million) and £50.5 million (€60 million) to make the transfer possible.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Coman’s agent, Christian Emile, has denied the claims, stating that “it’s not true.” As of right now, Kingsley is not taking any offers. Arsenal is hoping that they can still come to an agreement before the deadline because the information came directly from Coman’s camp.
Arteta’s lineup may be affected by the move of Fabio Vieira from Emirates Stadium to Porto, as the Portugal international often replaces Bukayo Saka out wide. Given this, Ethan Nwaneri, who is hoping for consistent playing time in midfield while Vieira is off, would not be greatly affected.
Kingsley Coman is a top-tier winger that Arsenal may sign.
Johan Bakayoko of PSV is still available, although Simon Adingra of Brighton is being thought of as a potential Coman substitute. Raheem Sterling of Chelsea and Jadon Sancho of Manchester United are two more players who could be dealt before the transfer window closes.
