To determine the champions, the supercomputer at Opta Analyst ran 10,000 simulations of the next Champions League campaign.

Additionally, the 36 teams competing in the league phase have been assigned percentage odds to advance to the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship.

The Champions League is undergoing a revamp this season, with a league phase taking the place of the group stage.

The teams placed ninth through twenty-four advance directly to the round of sixteen if they place in the top eight.

The Europa League serves as no longer as a safety net for the eight clubs that remain in positions 25 through 36 after being eliminated from Europe.

Play begins on Tuesday in the league phase, with three nights of matches this week.

The supercomputer at Opta Analyst has awarded Arsenal a 6.3% chance to win the trophy for the first time ahead of the first matchday.

Additionally, Mikel Arteta’s team has been assigned a 13.2 percent chance of qualifying for the May 31 Allianz Arena in Munich.

After reaching the quarterfinals the previous season, their chances of making it to the round of 16 are at 76.5%.

Arsenal’s season starts on the road on Thursday against Atalanta. They then play Paris Saint-Germain, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Sporting Lisbon, Monaco, Dinamo Zagreb, and Girona throughout their remaining matches.

The team led by Pep Guardiola has a 25.3% chance of winning the championship again in 2023.

Real Madrid, the reigning champions, are the next most popular team, coming in at 18.2%, ahead of Inter, who are favoured by 10.9%.

Liverpool’s chances of winning a seventh European title are estimated to be 4.2%, higher than those of the other English clubs.

Aston Villa, on the other hand, are underdogs at 0.2% in their first competition since 1983.

The supercomputer has also assigned nine teams, including Celtic, a 0% probability of winning the Champions League this year.
