Saka on what to say about himself in a speed-dating profile

“My age is twenty-one.” I play for Arsenal. My club for a very long time has been this one. I enjoy happiness and love, and I’m a huge football fan. I aim to be fun and intelligent.

“Soccer”? Since I was a young child, I’ve got it. As soon as I learnt about this game, I fell in love with it. I still adore it. In front of my house was a closed neighbourhood. There was a circle formed by the other houses. The sole area in the centre was a green field. We made it into a football pitch even though there wasn’t one. Everyone went to play there. I met up with the neighbourhood kids there to play after school until our parents called to tell us it was time for dinner and a shower. Next, to bed. Next day, school started. We repeated the action!
