Sterling mentioned a particular role that gave him the idea to modify his home game watching habits.
Despite not wanting to take the conventional path, RAHEEM STERLING has made suggestions about what comes when he hangs up his playing boots.
In the 5-1 victory over Bolton in midweek, the Arsenal star scored his first goal for the team since joining on loan from Chelsea.

But Sterling has already made it clear that he has other plans and is not interested in taking the conventional path that many athletes take and becoming a coach. I don’t know about coaching yet, but maybe something to do with working with young players and trying to help them with what’s next and preparing them for that, Sterling stated in an interview for Arsenal’s matchday program prior to their match against Leicester. “I truly like being of service to others. My genuine happiness comes from helping people on a football ground, so even if it’s not coaching, I might still be working with players in a similar capacity.”More about supporting the younger guys in various ways, but that’s still a ways off. That will have to wait until later. “There is a qualification I want to do, not on the coaching side, but I will focus on playing first I think.”
To that end, Sterling has already established a charitable foundation in his honour with the goal of assisting young people from underprivileged homes.
However, the former star of Manchester City and Liverpool disclosed one area of the game he adores. He will even act out the part when watching football games at home.
“I really adore the analytical side,” he declared. Right now, that’s my favourite aspect of it. analysing your rivals and anticipating their moves to determine how best to counter them.
“I find it astounding since that is the nature of football. It is imperative that you are fully equipped to handle any situation that the adversary may provide, and that you are quicker to respond than they are.
“I believe the winner will be the one who performs that aspect of the game better and more reliably. I would like to be involved in that as well because I love it when we do that with the coaches.
“I find it incredibly fascinating, and I enjoy listening to their analyses and developing plans while I’m in such sessions.
“Whenever I watch a game at home, I prefer to analyse the actions of both sides.
“Look closely at why certain things are occurring or not occurring—not just what’s happening when the game is on or whatever.
“I think that’s a side of the game that’s really grown in the past few years, and the environments I’ve been in have allowed me to see the game more in that way.”
Sterling revealed he gets joy out of helping young people, and has set up a charitable foundation in his name.
