After losing out on Leny Yoro this year, Real Madrid is hoping to sign a young centre-back in the summer of 2025, as has already been reported.
With the 18-year-old Brazilian central defensive prospect Vitor Reis of Palmeiras making a significant impact in his early career, he has emerged as one of the choices Real Madrid is closely considering.
Real Madrid and Arsenal submit inquiry
According to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, Real Madrid has already contacted Palmeiras about Vitor Reis. However, they are not the only team to enquire about the adolescent; Arsenal has also done so.
Numerous elite teams in Europe have reportedly expressed interest in the 18-year-old defender.

However, only Real Madrid and Arsenal have been in touch with him and his representatives to find out when he is available.
The defender, who recently extended his contract with Palmeiras until 2028 and included a massive €100 million release clause, has not yet had any formal offers.
As for Palmeiras, they haven’t yet established a price for their priceless gem. Their plan is to hold onto the eighteen-year-old until the 2025 Club World Cup at the latest.
Reis, who has played 15 senior games for Palmeiras, has been compared to Real Madrid’s own Eder Militao and PSG’s Marquinhos because of the qualities of his game.
It won’t be simple for Real Madrid to sign Reis because teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Barcelona are also rumoured to be interested.
