A Milwaukee Bucks fan posted a short rant against star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo on Facebook. According to the fan, he asked Giannis for a photo but the star forward declined because he was with his family. Because of this incident, the fan called the Bucks’ star bogus and then said that Damian Lillard is his new favorite player.

This post caught the attention of Giannis, who posted a response on his Instagram story. Giannis included a screenshot of the post along with a statement briefly explaining why he didn’t indulge the fan’s request.

The IG story is no longer available, but this is what Giannis said:

“If you were a real fan, in the first place, you would respect when I’m with my family. My real fans respect my family too!”

The fan who shared this tirade on Facebook then shared a screenshot of it to his own Instagram account. In addition to Giannis Antetokounmpo, he tagged Damian Lillard, Adam Silver, and the NBA. But none of these individuals have replied.
