Reports say that Real Madrid wants to sign Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold as one of their “two objectives” before the summer of 2019.

Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, and Virgil van Dijk, on the other hand, are still signed to different contracts, and all three can leave for free next summer.

It doesn’t look like any of the three players will be staying with Liverpool any time soon. They have all been linked with moves away from the club.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are both said to be interested in signing England star Trent Alexander-Arnold, who seems like a good deal.

The Liverpool defender looked angry that he was taken off during their first game of the season against Brentford, and Slot had to play down any reports of problems.

Now, news sources in Spain say that Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, is changing the club’s policy from “signing players just to sign players” to “choose players who are going to be profitable on and off the field.”

Kylian Mbappe is an example of this approach. Now, Perez’s “two objectives” for the summer of 2025 are Alphonso Davies and Alexander-Arnold, both defenders for Liverpool, who can join for free.

Real Madrid “has been keeping an eye on their careers over the past few years and has checked to see if both are available to sign.” The story also said that both players “want to be free.”

Last week, Liverpool legend Graeme Souness said that Slot must have taken Alexander-Arnold off in their 3-0 win over Manchester United because the England player had agreed to move to Real Madrid.
