The school where Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior got his start in the spotlight has a new sports center named after him.

In Sao Goncalo, the 22-year-old’s hometown in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he went back to his former school, Odete Sao Paio.

At the unveiling of the Vinicius Sports Centre, which bears his name, the new No. 7 for the Los Blancos stole the show, forever altering his connection to his hometown.

Marca states that Vinicius asked for a pick-up game between current and former pupils of the school.
