After spending a lot of money on land in Florida, Brazilian great Neymar has sparked rumors that he and Lionel Messi could play together again at Inter Miami.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Neymar spent a crazy $26 million (£20m) on a “piece of waterfront land” in Florida. The purchase of “approved plans for a 13,000-square-foot house” by Neymar will fuel rumors that he will reunite with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami, where they played together at Barcelona and PSG. Someone who worked with the buyer said that the “privacy and security of the gated community” drew their client in and that it was “exactly” what the buyer was looking for.
Since moving to the MLS last year, Messi has already surrounded himself with former Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets. Neymar has also been linked with a move to the club many times. During their time at Barcelona, Neymar, Messi, and Suarez were known as the “MSN” trio. They led the Catalan giants to many titles, both at home and abroad.
Neymar just got back to playing for Al-Hilal after a terrible time out with a serious knee injury. He joined the club in August 2023 in a huge deal from PSG, but he has only played six times since then.
