VINICIUS JR has responded to the issue of his disqualification from the Ballon d’Or.
Vinicius Jr. has spoken his opinions after missing out on the Ballon d’Or.
The highest honor went to Rodri.
Despite being a serious contender for the award, the Real Madrid star came in second to Rodri of Manchester City.
Vinicius did not attend the awards ceremony since Real Madrid boycotted the event.
However, Rodri spoke up and cautioned the organizers after accepting his reward.
“If it takes ten times, I will do it,” he posted on social media. They’re not prepared.
Vinicius Jr. was believed to have won the Ballon d’Or for his role in Real Madrid’s Champions League and La Liga victories the previous season.
With 24 goals and 11 assists, he played a significant role in the Champions League knockout stages, including the championship match.
But instead of him, the ultimate accolade went to Rodri, the League and Euro champion.
Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, was incensed and decided not to go.
Jude Bellingham, the third-place finisher, was the only Real Madrid player to attend the ceremony in Paris.
The absence of a club representative to accept the Club of the Year award created an awkward situation.
Additionally, manager Carlo Ancelotti did not receive Coach of the Year honors.
Emi Martinez of Aston Villa won Keeper of the Year, and Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, who participated in the Madrid boycott, split the Striker’s Prize.
