Discover the story behind Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold’s joining adidas and his choice to wear the Predator

Trent Alexander-Arnold used Predator 2024 football boots to score the game-winning goal against Manchester City, making his return to adidas—the brand he had worked for in the youth division—even more memorable.

Trent Alexander-Arnold appears to be enjoying a spectacular season in 2023–2024. Let us first discuss Alexander-Arnold’s involvement at Liverpool since the conclusion of the previous season. With the ball in the Red Brigade’s possession, he will move into a midfield role. Once he takes possession of the ball, the opponent will return to his defensive position. The British player’s new spot on the field has contributed significantly to The Kop’s outstanding performance this year. He has now officially moved to Adidas, ending his association with Under Armour, and he will be the Predator face with another well-known British model, Jude Bellingham.

Fans are led to believe that Trent and Predator are a “match made in heaven” when they combine the legendary silo’s “control” and “accuracy.” This serves to highlight No. 66 Liverpool’s new “inverted winger” position even more.

What better way to make your debut as the newest member of the adidas team in general and the Predator team in particular than to score a goal by charging right into the Manchester City defense and winning the game’s first point? Trent also succeeded in achieving this goal by donning Predator 2024 sneakers that were customized for him. The primary color is white, with a red accent—akin to Liverpool’s red—on the detachable tongue and Ba logo. striped. Young admirers were enthralled with Alexander-Arnold, but so were devotees of the detachable tongue style from the previous ten years.

There is a lot to say about this goal. But today, we will interview Trent Alexander-Arnold to talk about his move to Adidas and why he chose Predator.

“[Wearing the Predator on your feet feels] different from using other shoes – it feels like you are carrying more responsibility on your shoulders and have to take that mission seriously and fairly.”

Let’s talk about joining adidas. What does that mean to you?

Very interesting. Really, really interesting. I’ve always felt like I had a special relationship with the brand, so I’m excited to return and be a part of adidas’ exciting upcoming projects. I’m really happy to be with them.”

Ignore factors such as contracts, money or other issues – What makes adidas suitable for you?

I think at this point in my career, my goals and expectations for the future align with the values that adidas brings. It feels like everything is ripe. The upcoming projects the label presented were completely in line with what I wanted my career to be at this time, so it was the perfect time to make this big change.

Did you have time to wear Predator when you were playing in the youth team? Surely he must feel comfortable “going so far to return” like this time. Can you share more about what it was like to wear a Predator as a child?

When worn on the feet, Predator brings a very indescribable feeling compared to other shoes. It feels like you are shouldering more responsibility, and you will have to make constant efforts to be worthy of the values that Predator represents. And that encouraged me and made me play better in the past matches. It’s special every time I wear them on my feet and go out to play football.

Talking about the uvula. You’ve played and experienced them – that’s a special highlight on the design of this new Predator, right?

The removable tongue is probably one of the branding elements of this legendary Predator silo. They are so different and unique that just adding this tongue will instantly make your shoes special. I have loved these uvulas since I was a child and have had them for a long time. Now I’m still very happy to wear them on my feet and go out on the field with them.

How do you feel about the classic elements of Predator returning this generation?

I was very excited to see this new generation of Predator for the first time. There are clearly a lot of differences when comparing them to shoes I’ve worn in the past. But they still have a distinctive look, with a similar tongue and overall design, but made in a more modern direction. Because now you can’t wear a pair of shoes with the same materials and technology as in 2005 and go out on the field!

An upgrade is essential for today’s pace of play.

It feels like your joining Adidas will bring many benefits to the brand both on and off the field, especially the inspirational aspect. So what is your goal when becoming part of this German sports company?

This is an exciting time for both adidas and myself. As I mentioned before, with the projects that the company will bring in the near future, I feel this is the perfect time to work side by side with them. I’m excited about what’s to come both on and off the field.

Do you want to participate in a project and work creatively with them?

If that’s possible then it’s definitely something I’m willing to accept. I think I’m a creative thinker, someone who likes to delve into such things, so if the opportunity arises I’ll be the first to take it.

Do you see yourself as someone who can help shape the culture on and off the field? In other words, combining football and fashion together?

Sure. There’s always room for people to express themselves and it’s great to see that more and more, especially in football. The foundation has been laid by our predecessors and we can build on it to express ourselves and show the world what kind of people we are.

His arrival at the training ground in an adidas Liverpool Retro shirt is something everyone will be looking forward to…

That sounds cool to me! That’s definitely something I’ll do when I get the chance.

Adidas has had strong links with Liverpool in the past. What you do for this community is something the whole world knows about. Have you ever thought about collaborating with the brand and implementing ideas to contribute to this community?

Yes sure. There’s a lot we can do and I’m sure we’ll talk about that in the future. I know the brand is one of the pioneers in this space and they have done a lot of impactful work around the world to make the earth a better place. Whether big or small, every impact has a huge impact on people. Hopefully we can make the world a better place by working together towards a common goal.
